Accepted Manuscripts

The Kurdistan Journal of Applied Research (KJAR) accepts different types of manuscripts, including original articles, Survey articles, review articles, and case studies.

1. Original article: A research article reports the results of original research and assesses its contribution to the body of knowledge in a given area with the relevant data and findings in an orderly, logical manner. All research articles should contain an abstract, an introduction, related work (optional sections for computer science, engineering, or agriculture, or relevant per article's type), methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and references, with relevant section headings in between. It should be between 3000 and 5000 words without counting the references.

2. Review: A review article is written to summarize the recent developments, improvements, discoveries, and ideas in various subjects. Review articles should present an unbiased summary of the current understanding of the topic. Review articles are intended to provide an updated perspective on a certain subject that could be relevant for the readership of the journal. Review articles should be no longer than 30 pages, have an abstract of 250 to 300 words, and contain a limit of 50 references. It should be between 5000 and 8000 words without counting references. All reviews should contain an abstract, an introduction, background, a literature review, and a conclusion section with references at the end.

3. Case report and Case series: Authors are encouraged to submit articles on case studies using precise scientific topics, with excellent details, investigations, and curiosity. A case study should contain a short abstract and introduction, followed by a case description, discussion, and conclusions. up to 2500 words. All technical / case studies should contain an abstract, an introduction, a case presentation, discussion, conclusions, and references.
